'My daughter plays alone in the schoolyard'

The thought of your child standing lonesome in a playground full of laughing children, with not a single friend probably brings back baggage of a time we felt obvious and alone ourselves.

As parents, we worry about our kids if they are playing alone. Is it a sign of something else? Are they being bullied or left out? Are they lacking confidence socially? Is there a reason nobody wants to play with them?

In this article for KIDSPOT, I chat with a mum about her concerns and a teacher with over 20 years' experience.

Enjoy!
